May 9-12, 2003 - Out of Town. We were
out of town for a family funeral. My uncle David Harb was a second
father to me. A custom painter, car customizer, and hot rodder from the
early days, he was a huge early influence on my choosing drag racing as a
life's hobby. His tales of taking on the local Corvette club with his Hemi
powered '32 Ford fired my imagination. And I still fondly remember tooling
down the Cleveland Innerbelt in the back seat of his 500 cubic inch, alcohol
injected Lincoln Continental. He was a great guy. RIP, Uncle Dave.
