Drag Racing Movie of the Week: Bill Weichelt's AA/Gas Dragster Running in Britain, 1971. John Hutchinson shot this video of Weichelt running his AA/GD in Britain. What's the big deal? Bill was a serviceman in the US Air Force who shipped his digger to England while he served there!

Drag Racing Photo of the Day: Ray Gustafson's '68 Camaro: World Wheelstanding Champion! Rick Kurtz caught Ray Gustafson as he put ALL four of his Camaro's wheels off the ground to take top honors at Byron Dragway's annual World Wheelstanding Championships.

October 29, 2002 - Drag Racing Story of the Day: CHRR 2002: Race Day at the Reunion. Mike Hollander and the fine folks at Racing Information Systems provide final results and qualifying from the 2002 California Hot Rod Reunion.

Drag Racing Photo of the Day: Todd Logan's Division 1 Econo Altered. Rich Barry captured Massachusetts racer Todd Logan a long distance from home at the NHRA National event in Bristol, Tennessee.

October 28, 2002 - We're back, but where were we? Immediately after sending our weekly update on October 14, the power supply in the primary draglist.com computer went away. This started a chain reaction that ended in three computers completely torn down and no way to get the site updates done or to get email. Luckily, we're mostly back, thanks in great part to our new friend Billy Leftwich from www.mrpart.com. When I was at the end of my rope Sunday, Billy drove up and got our repairs back on track. We've got lots of updates to catch up on, so hang in there for more this week. We still don't have access to many of our emails received over the past month, so please hang in there if we are slow in responding. We are GLAD to be back! Thanks for all the calls and emails of support.

October 26, 2002 - Drag Racing Story of the Day: T. Pedregon, Dixon, Stanfield and Savoie Lead Qualifying at The Strip. NHRA Communications provides first day qualifying results from Vegas.

Over several articles, he'll explain how he did it, the results, and the lessons learned. Here's how he promoted the event.
