Notes: Mike debuted his new Corvette on May 17 at the NHRA Division 6 race at OCIR. His best of 6.44/208 failed to qualify for the eight-car show. He was at Milan Dragway for the IHRA Northern Nationals, but his best of 6.24 was first alternate there. He qualified for the IHRA Summernationals at Bristol, running 6.46 for the #6 spot, but a troubled 7.17 in the first round, lost to Paul Smith's 6.48 in Larry Coogle's car.
