GRAND BEND, Ont. - Clay Millican was the quickest Top Fuel qualifier at the IHRA Mopar Performance Parts Canadian Nationals at the Grand Bend Motorplex. Millican, Drummonds, Tenn., ran a 4.615, 317.23-mph.

Other number one professional qualifiers include Mitch Stott, Mill Spring, NC, in Pro Modified; Steve Stordeur, Goshen, Ohio, in Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson; Jimmy Rector, Vernon, Ala., in Funny Car; Brian Gahm, Lucasville, Ohio, in Sunoco Pro Stock.

Saturday's attendance was in excess of 21,500, the largest single-day crowd in Canadian drag racing history.

Final eliminations are scheduled for Sunday at 11:30. The Mopar Performance Parts Canadian Nationals is the fifth stop on the twelve-race Hooters IHRA Racing Series.
