After putting the engine back together over the weekend, we finally made "thunder" Tuesday. I let my dad have Wednesday off, and yesterday he made a few tweaks to the injectors, as Enderly told him to do so, since 5 and 7 were not hitting. She actually held 75+ pounds of oil pressure at a constant rate and came to life with the little wholes he drilled. Stood her on the transbrake, she sounded great. It's starting to come together and I couldn't be happier.
There is a race next weekend, May 19th and 20th. But there is a Test n Tune the 18th. Unfortunately, I can't get the time off work, so my dad is going to take the dragster out and start to make passes for his license. I guess, kinda break her in for me.
I'll post some pictures of the engine rebuilding process. But I only have a few. My hands were getting too greasy to snap pictures after awhile.

He changed the oil Tuesday night after she first ran. Then they changed it last night, again, after she ran. They're going to make one more adjustment to the valves next week and, again, change the oil, and then she'll be race ready.
