Saturday was my son's debut with the car. He did outstanding, and I couldn't be more proud of him. Up until that day, the quickest he has been in a race car was 10.30's. That record fell on his first full pass with an 8.32 at 165 using one stage. He was able to make 4 out of the 5 required passes in order to get his license. We had to put off making the 5th pass till Sunday, but a valve train problem made us change our plans. Have to check it out this week, and see what happened, get it fixed, then head back up there for the last pass.
