OK, here is the story,..sorta..
on Jack Cambras 3 funny cars.
The 3rd one
being the Qaurter Bender 77 late model vega.
the 2nd one being
Gentleman Jack Cambra a 74 almost slant nose vega,
and the 1st one,
no name..just Jack Cambra a flat nosed vega.

Jack Cambras first funny car,purchased from Ken Veney
in 1973 it was tested a couple of times at bakersfield then
it went back to Hawaii where it was short lived as a
race car, when less than 1 year later Jack purchased a
74 vega from out of texas which was called , Gentleman
Jack Cambra, it too was only raced a short while, untill
about 1976-77 when jack had Ken Cox build a new
swoopy late model layback chassid vega funny car that
was blue w/white stripe across the
hood and motor area with blue inodized tin work,.
this was the Qaurter Bender vega funny car, which i
believe to be the one
Troublmaker has that says danger zone on it

The only prob i have going to the DLN is that the
weekend before i have the div 6 races at woodburn,OR
running a TA/FC for Dave Germain and the weekend
after same gig, but at the Nationals in seattle.
unless i can get a lear jet to get me in and out, it will be
tuff to swing......we will see what happends,..i am
full of surprises,....a cha cha cha cha
