Just checking in from an Amherst, Ohio truck stop. 300 miles to go till we hit Gary's house. Getting 7 mpg so far.

Look, Doc. Get rid of the depends and put on some workman's drawers and get your butt up to Eddyville! Damn! You'll have more fun than you need to have, I guarantee that 100%...and it won't be costing you nothing but pocket change...
It'll be great if Painter Tom shows up! I've seen that video and it is awesome!
Mike, what's the total weight that you're hauling? Is it running OK, not getting hot? Are you in hilly country? Just some thoughts I have after hearing the mileage figures...stay safe and we'll see you there!
Cheers, WC1

The motorhome itself weighs 33,000, the trailer loaded weighs 8200. There are a number of hills in the area, but we are just flying over them like they weren't even there. The engine gets up to about 200 degrees and then the massive cooling fans turn on and this thing sounds like a train, and the temp drops right down to normal. It's an absolute dream ride, we couldn't be happier.

I must add one more thing. Jeeves is performing way above and beyond. So far, he has managed to save us over 50.00 in tolls!!! Man, he knows just where to take us so that we can see this beautiful countryside on the trip.
