randy i was wondering how many draglist "lurkers" do you run into at these events? i had a package get derailed and someone from fedex knew who i was and got it straighted out before it got sent back.....i wonder if the 'list had anything to do with that

She loves me Ya ya ya ya ya,,,, she loves me,,,oh hi guys I was just jamming with a few of my blokes!

FHB, Doc gave a great response. If you look at the views, do the math with the main group of us here. There are a TON of people who lurk but don't post. Thats cool, I am just glad they are checking in.

Yes, I meet a ton of internet buddys out there at the races. I have people who email me and ask when are we coming to such and such a track. But there are a ton of people out there that come to the races who check us out on the web and say they came out to watch us run. 8)

Nitro Madness Runs a Big % of Nitro!!!

Someday that will be the headline!! :usa2:

But for now, we are doing a display for Arnolds one of our sponsors. I got Scott to up the Nitro for the effect on the start-ups. Probably 2-3 times. We are at 50%, and I can't wait to hear the old girl talk. :occasion14:

It is next Monday the 31st of July. I will let everyone know how it goes. :occasion14:

A fireup of Nitro Madness at 50% would be friggin' awesome, man...if you ran it that way all the time, though, I suppose you'd be needing to get new parts and a block more often...Not that it don't already run like a raped ape...but the higher the percentage, the more power it makes and the more likely it will be to wear out parts or break at a race...the thing I saw about that car that was impressive to me besides the 4.13 was how "clean and smooth" it ran on nitro. It shook the earth and sent shockwaves throughout the track when you nailed it, but it was an extremely smooth-running engine. There was not so much as a single pop or burp that came out of the mill. Without being a tuner, I could tell that it's set up to stay together flat-out and not go over the top. It maximizes its own potential. Y'all are not getting carried away with the power curve. Heck, it wins. You don't have an unlimited supply of engines and parts in reserve, and you have a lot of gigs lined up. Having a world-class driver in that combination adds up to first-class drag racing. I hope ya can get a video of that fireup, Rapid! Cheers, WC1
