I got an iPod for Christmas and I finally got it plugged in and hooked up last week. My first cut at the songs/albums I wanted was four GIGABYTES of the best of the best... problem is, Denise only got me a 2 GB iPod! So, I did a lot of culling... so that means I had to get RUTHLESS with the songs I left on it. (Of course the City kings are there). But I've been wearing the headphones to and from work all week and man, how did I ever live without this thing? It's fantastic. I can still hear stuff around me, so it's not a safety thing... It's really improved my life. I'm tapping my foot every where I go. bp

Yes. I believe it is in the best interest of society and the world in general for us all to be as Bob-Like as possible at all times. I've met and interacted with folks of all kinds, all beliefs, all sizes, colors, and lifestyles in my life's adventure, and there is one, and only one Bob. I have never had an encounter with him that I didn't walk away as a better human being from having been in his presence. He is truly the ultimate OK guy...he's the kind of man you look forward to being around. Things just get simpler and easier to handle. At Bob's place, it's a world where there are no mistakes, no problems, nothing to get all worked-up about. It all happens right here, right now, and it's all good. He's the best running buddy I ever had. I can't think of going to the drag races without Bob to help clarify the relationship of this activity to my basic instinctive life's purpose. Thanks, Doc. I saw a show on PBS the other night..."The Magic Flute"...I went, oh no, not an opera! Well, I went ahead and let it start...shockingly, it was by far the greatest musical show I ever saw. I was totally blindsided by what came up. I'm sure a lot of you if not all of you have seen this show, but man, it blew my mind. That it was originally written and produced in the late 1700s further advanced my awe of it. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart...the guy was the greatest...incredible, outstanding stuff...I have the movie "Amadeus" and it's a crazy, wild movie but I didn't know exactly what Mozart's actual product was all about. I can see now why he is called the first rock star. "The Magic Flute" completely went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Sure glad I didn't just flip the channel and gave that show a chance to play. It changed the way I think about opera and theatrical music. Cheers, WC1
