Somewhere on one of the boards someone was saying the newer tires don't smoke like the old ones did,,,,I guess they haven't seen one of our burnouts, or these photos!

It must be the car, because the Brand X tires we tried at KCIR, were smoking fools also! 8)

Drat,,,missed it by this much!!

I have been a slacker on this thread lately. We have the frame stripped clear down. It is going to the media blaster Fri Morning as the guys leave to go pick up the new Nitro Madness Ride.

I am going to paint the complete frame for the new owner so it looks nice for them as someone is getting a great car when they buy this one. I am re-doing the rear body and fiberglassing it up. I will paint the rear section, and the wheel wells on the car. I am going to try to leave the nose as is. It could use some TLC, but it would mean removing the graphics off the nose and I really like them on there.

We are putting all new dzus fasteners everywhere in the body for the new owner also. It comes with the motor plates for a small block, big block, and the Hemi. All the levers, twin chutes, cables. It will be all together so all you have to do is plug in a motor and trans and go racing. We are letting the trick dry sump tank go with the car as it gives it so much personality I think.

I will keep you in the loop on how it is going and when it will be ready to leave for its new home. 8)

You are not just a kidding Lippy. The last outing was our fastest 1/8-mile time ever, and it ran 3-1.01-1.02 60-foot times. 8)

Kinda hard to give up a good car like this. I just hope the new one treats us as well. :D
