Matt Sullivan ran injected nitro in his sheer Craziness Vega funny car 20 years ago. He had a powerglide in it.
Danny Sullivan also ran injected nitro in his Chicago Rush Mustang II at that time. He had a lenco and clutch. Stood it straight up once.

BTW Lippy, I met Ray Motes at the Race and Performance Expo last weekend. He was giving away pics of your car.

I told him I knew the guy who had the car now. That's when I learned who he was. Unfortunatley there was some sort of demonstration going on acrooss the aisle and everyone was packed in that area pretty tight so I didn't get to talk with him for more than 30 seconds or so. When I went back a couple of times later, he wasn't around.
He was in a booth for Vertex and Taylor.
Yes, I have a pic. I wanted to get an autograph but couldn't for the above reasons.

Maybe I'll sign it "Driver Lippy" myself and put it on Ebay for a couple of grand.
