Randy, I got a perfectly good simpson helmet from Steve Tryon, to wear with my halloween mask, what are the specs for helmets in IHRA? Just being a dummy, I think NHRA is Snell 2005?

Lippy, I would have to look, but I think they mirror NHRA requirements. Last I knew it was a snell 95 rating, but was going to the next step up pretty soon. Like at the end of this year.

My rule book says SA-95 or newer.

I was checkin' on mine the udder day (Snell-95 Open Face)....according to the 2006 NHRA rulebook....it will be good until Jan-1-07...(dadgummit....MORE $$ to spend
