				Aspirated BBC- 20w50 kendall gt1 racing
Supercharged BBC & HEMI- cool to warm day, 50w kendall gt1 racing. mod. warm to HOT day, mix 50/50 of 50w and nitro 70 kendall gt1 racing.

				Thanks Jed. I've been using 20-50 Brad Penn, and someone suggested that you actually pick up a few ponies by using a synthetic oil.

				we've tried a few synthetics over the years. Only success we've had is tearing up cylinder walls and pistons. did that a couple times with different brands and just went back to what works for us. I always figured it had to do with the ol sayin of never break in a motor with synthetic oil, use regular and with the low amount runs we put on drag motors, it was the same as breakin it in with it. who knows

				I run Kendall gt1 50w used to run pennzoil 50w but the kendell is easier for me to get never had any troubles .thats said my buddy swears by mobil 1 synthetic??......I do run synthetic gear lube seems to help the life of the ring gear??.....ERIK

				when we ran superstock we used mobil one ,but we would run the motor  in for a hour to break it in before any dyno time or track runs to get the rings to seat

				Guys, I was just curious what brand and viscosity oil you all are using.
I think the answer is "it depends"...
In our case, we drop the oil out at the end of each event, be it 3 passes or more...
With the Top Fuel car, we drop it every pass (of course).
In both case's we run Brad Penn. In the past the T/F car has run Amalie and Torco with no problems.
If you are running a carb'd gas engine, I would go with synthetic.
