I just got an email that LaDonna passed away.
LaDonna was a classmate of mine.
Our class of '72 was small, 45 people, but this is our first loss.
Pretty good run we had. Classes before us and after us have all had classmates die. Most many years ago, some classes even before graduation.
We all knew it would happen some day.
I understand she has 2 sons. She wasn't married, though I don' know why. Had to be her call because she was very easy on the eyes and was fun to be around in High School. We rode the same bus in grade school. Once in awhile in H.S. the group of guys I ran with and the group of girls she ran with would cross paths on weekends. She didn't make it to many class reunions. I think she was anxious to leave the small town life in her rear view mirror & see the world. I hope she got that chance and had a good life, short as it was.
According to the email she was diagnosed with acute leukemia in June & passed away about a week ago.
