Well respected West Coast dragster builder... RIP, George. bp

George Britting passed away at noon, on Saturday June 17th. He was released from the hospital on Friday morning and had returned home and was feeling fine, after having 3 stents placed. Around noon on Saturday he became ill and paramedics could not revive him. Marcie wants to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers. George lived a long and good life of 77 years. Funeral arrangements are pending and we will make notification when they become available.

A memorial service for Top Fuel chassis builder George Britting will take place on June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glenkirk Church, 1700 Palopinto Rd., Glendora, California. George's family has requested that attendees who have classic/show/old cars bring them to the service, as George would have liked that.
