My longtime friend, E'Town's Michelle Marchese brought a cyber piece of press to my attention that I pass on to my readers... It's an article written by Susan Wade for the COMPETITION PLUS cyber zine... Some of you probably remember that Susan Wade wrote about me awhile back, giving me props, and telling her readers about my "tell it like it is" approach to drag racing journalism... It's sort of a mutual admiration kind of thing between Susan and I, we both respect each others writing and "gettin' to the truth" journalism chops... Susan's new article at COMPETITION PLUS, titled "ENGLISHTOWN WELCOMES EPPING'S PRESENCE ON TOUR" makes it clear that the recently announced addition of an NHRA event to the New England strip is in no way an indication of E'Town losing its Supernationals race, or in no way a confirmation of the completely bogus rumors of E'Town's demise-- Quite the opposite, as per E'Town's own David Napp and NHRA's Graham Light, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park has no plans to close its doors, or cease to host its incredibly successful NHRA Supernationals event... Napp attributes the ridiculous false rumors and lies, to the seedier side of the drag racing internet, which I completely agree with... Raceway Park is here to stay!!... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
Today's blog... SUSAN WADES TELLS THE E-TOWN TRUTH!!...

I recommend reading Susan Wade's excellent piece at COMPETITION PLUS so that you'll be enlightened to the fact that the false rumors of E'Town's demise are nothing more than blowhard banter from the drag racing internet's seedier side... I elaborate and provide a direct link to Susan Wade's article on my blog page...

Photo of the historic and "quickest NHRA strip in history" (E'Town) by yours truly.
