Postby gary b » Tue May 23, 2006 6:14 am

we'll we always talk about go fast parts and ya'll seem to have good info so let's talk about stopping or whoooo power. in the past always used single piston wilwood setup and never been real happy.. [ran off the end to many times] thinking about the dual caliper setup we used to see all the time. or are you better off with a good 4 piston setup like the super lites or 6 piston gt6000 by wilwood or some other man.. oyea for a 2000lb 4 link dragster with 800 hp thanks broke dad

Hey Broke Dad , I had a dragster ran mid 7's 180 mph plus, 2000 lb with 4 piston calipers on the rear only and had no problems stopping.

Gary, we have a single piston wilwood master, and four piston wilwoods on the back of our F.E.D, stops fine, but only weighs 1400lb. Oh, yeah, hand brake too.
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

I like the stick thing the Little Rascals use in their rides,,,,,,,

we also use 4 piston set up on the dragster and the Pro Mod 6's with both
helps to have good Stroud laundry as well..........
