How cool was this. While we were out in Iowa, I get an email from a guy that has a bunch of 60 Chevy body parts in fiberglass. We made a deal, and now the stuff is at home waiting to be installed over the Winter. Should save us just a little weight over the stock steel parts.

They look GREAT, Mike! Great score, man! Good luck on getting it all in place over the winter. I'm sure it'll be a perfect fit! Cheers, WC1

*** OCTOBER 8 RACE REPORT ***

Not too much to report. This race was not our best. If nothing else it was a new best motor only race. There were some issues with the nitrous not turning on three times in a row, and not an obvious reason why. Very disappointing passes all in the 9 second zones. I do have video and stills, I'll try to get posted later on today. At least nothing broke, that we know of.

First two passes with the new tire pressure, the car acted like we had 25lbs in them. Bad track? Maybe, probably.

After the second pass we tested the nitrous system, and everything worked like it was supposed to. Once the car got underway, the first stage fired for a mili-second then shut off. From that point on it was all motor.

We have two more races left this season, maybe it will happen at that time.
