Actually, if this is the same date as York again, I'd like to consider the following weekend, or at least consider it further. I know that Gerald and I were talking about next year and we would like a particular date for the participation of some member of a local car club event that takes place annually. So I'd like to see what that date is before we commit to anything. But I agree that we should get a date set as soon as it makes sense. bp
UPDATE: 1/10/08 -- It's NOT the same date as York this year. York US 30 and Beaver Springs Nostalgia events are on July 11-12-13, then Draglist Nats are on July 18-19, with Sunday the 20th as a potential rain date. bp

Works for me. I'm all for a date that allows the most Draglisters to make it.
I think you can camp @ the track Doc.
no i'm serious.... i will bee selling the 1-man house/shop soon.... just wanting to wind up where the action is.... When i used to drive to INDY every year for the NATS there is a cute little trailer park just across the railroad tracks... allways said to myself... Icould live here and be a happy old guy.. get a job at the track or sell sme heaps from the driveway etc.. some part time work in a local mech shop... good to goGOOD TO GO !!

After long and careful consideration of 2-3 seconds I have decided to attend the Draglist Nat's 3!! 
Lets nail the date and plan ahead to try to get a few more members to make the trip.
