I'm all for a group trip to Houston. What a blast that would be. We could set up a regional Draglist Nats (Cafe Noir Nats?) to include music, the bay, etc. I wonder how many folks Steve can get on his boat?

Looks like it is, T! If you folks want to get together when BP and Denise come to town, I'm all for it...we'll throw a Wang-Dang-Dootle (to coin a phrase {Billy Mac!})...my door's open to you, I think a lot of you know that...but in case you didn't, this is your place...mi caca su caca...Life is good!

The band is playing 3 gigs a weekend now, through the rest of this month into November. Pee Wee's phone is ringing off the wall. In the last week, we've played for a couple thousand people around town, and they love what we're doing. I haven't become jaded by this, it's just that I can't remember everywhere we have played...it becomes a blur by the time a few days have gone by. Hopefully, hurricane Ike will pass us by and let us play this weekend...we have a new gig in town at the Shepherd Bar, not actually too far from where I live, Saturday night we have Heads & Tales back in League City, and Sunday it's the annual hot rod show down in LaMarque...last weekend we played T-Bone Tom's in Kemah, Lone Star in Pasadena, and The Nessler Center in Texas City Sunday, which was a benefit for a young boy who was killed on his bicycle last week and his family had no money for his funeral. It looked to me like 15-20 grand got raised for them...they were overhwelmed and they didn't stay. The Chief of Police will deliver the money to them...anyway, it's been a pretty incredible 6 months, man. The shows are getting packed and we're cranking out some very slick music...having fun...Cheers, WC1
