Dickie Peterson

A true original, creator of a new sound with the band Blue Cheer. Vincebus Eruptum was a landmark album and it sculpted my musical consciousness in a way that Led Zeppelin, Hendrix or Cream couldn't approach, with all respects. Dickie Peterson put it all together and then some in one big rolling metallic machine that scaled unimaginable heights of sonic ecstasy. Rest in peace, bass player and vocalist eternal. WC1

I couldn't agree more, WC1. Between Blue Cheer, Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Red Krayola and Bubble Puppy, the old International Artists line up was like no other.
