The infamous Billy the Kid Stepp has passed on. News reports show that he was far more than a leading Mopar Pro Stock campaigner off the track, but he was a super racer on the track. You'll have to google for details on his off track antics. bp

In the spring of 1970 I took delivery of a new 340 Dart race car from Mount Vernon Dodge.Billy was hot here in the east and I thought his Demon was one of the best looking cars ever to hit the asphalt! He was known as a "colorful" guy but many of the Mopar P/S crowd was back during those times.
