Lost Friends

Postby WildcatOne » Sat Apr 18, 2009 3:01 pm

No offense or disrespect is intended to anyone in motorsports or life in here. I have learned that this website is primarily about Drag Racing but it also includes posts and stories about people across the entire universe. We have been making these posts for several years and give equal condolences to all who have passed and their families, whether they were media celebrities, motorsports enthusiasts, or unknown people with otherwise census bureau identities that have had influence and impressions that were left on us individually. There are also sections of this website that deal with personal information among us that has nothing to do with drag racing, and they are approved and often praised by members for the interesting and sometimes uplifting and inspiring stories, and these posts are nurtured and encouraged by the board administration. I'm not trying to generate negativity by posting this, I'm just stating the facts. I'm really not sorry if it gets called ridiculous or unethical; we're all entitled to our own opinions and that's cool with me. Without any intention of offending anyone, I will continue to make posts in this section of people we know or know about who passed away, including my friends, relatives and acquaintences, as well as motorsports people until or unless board administration tells me otherwise. When my day comes, I hope to have a post made about me in here. I don't have a hot rod and my name won't show up in the Drag Lists, but I am going to jump in and help everybody here when I am asked or when I see the need. God Bless, thanks for the space and long live DragList! Cheers, WC1

I don't have a problem with any of the posts that are made. We are family here and if they are important to you, they are important to me. It's just electrons... not like it costs anything to post a quick remembrance of someone who had an impact on your life. It's sad enough to have to post these notices; we don't need to have folks worry about whether or not someone 'qualifies' to be here. bp
