Too bad it ended that way. He was always cool in whatever role he played.

One of my favorites... I loved Kung Fu at the time. Loved Kill Bill, too, and the Long Riders (and he played a great badass in Lone Wolf McQuade). bp

He was a man of many talents. I recently watched his series on the History Channel, "Wild West Tech" where he had a completely different personality, full of fascinating information, jokes and wisecracks with a dry humor. He was a 60s rebel, musician, artist and hippie (He was perfect to play Woody Guthrie in "Bound For Glory", my favorite DC film) but as an actor he excelled. Sorry it ended like this. It reminded me of Hunter S. Thompson's exit among a few others of recent times. Rest, David, and thanks for your excellent contributions. WC1
