This man was one of the greatest baseball players ever...before a lot of great baseball players were millionaire thugs...he stood for the American ideal. I remember him well and I'll always respect him.
Rest in peace, Duke. You were special. I wondered what you thought about all of it as it is now. You left an imprint on Major League Baseball that will stand forever. WC1
