Time to kill the cow?

Postby draglist » Thu Sep 07, 2006 3:58 pm

OK, even I am tired of screwing with the Spelling Cow. At this point, it is going into a debug mode when I try to submit something and I don't even have the option of selecting "Submit" without spell check.

No doubt Brian can chase down this latest quirk and fix it, but it seems to me that it will happen again. So... how many folks use and depend on the Spelling Cow? Should we shoot the old girl and look for something different?

I'm interested to see that the "Goo Gal" [I can't spell the actual search engine because Spelling Cow won't recognize it or let me post this!] Toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer has a new spell check feature...

What do you think? I'll keep the poll open until Sunday night. Bill

Most people will tell you I don't use it enough. But, I use IE SPELL. It downloads into the computer without messing anything up. Then you just right click to check whatever window you have open. There are a few programs it doesn't work in, but it never locks up the computer or freezes any software. It works on any web site I have ever tried it on.
