Message board rankings?

Hi gang. Here's another poll...

Should we include the message board rankings that we used to have (and many other boards have)?

For instance, someone with under 50 posts would be a certain rank (tire wiper, etc.), then you get a higher rank after 100 posts, then another rank after 500 posts, etc.

I can set the names of the ranks and the number of posts required to achieve each level, so first of all, vote. Then, if you voted yes, give me your ideas about what the various names should be and where the number of posts should break. I'll consider everything and then make a decision...

I am also open to folks who feel the that current deal (no rankings) is working great and this isn't needed. (I guess it isn't, but do we think it would be fun?) Bill

i think we should do that, break it every 100, untill 1000,then every 1000, then every 2500, i think whoever has the most posts will be "the one" the ranks should go something like , newbie, floor sweeper, garbage disposal technician, tire wiper, blown header gasket, tire wiper, oil changer, etc.... till you get to blown fuel tuner, then the one, just my opinion, please help guys coming up with these names is hard

Yes, I think it would be fun. I think we all need to add a name like you said Tire Kicker, Pit Gopher, Alky Sniffer, Cake Eater...No that won't work except for RRB.......

Quite a few of us visit the Nitro Network board also. They have those in place.

I have made it to NITRO LEGEND over there!

Now, that being said, I personally don't think we need them but will go along for the ride with my friends here whichever way we go!

gosh beegator, that's a pretty strong opinion. if it's going to run members off i guess i'll retract my former statement, wouldn't be no fun at all to be "the one" all by myself.( and i could never catch randy anyway )

I didn't think post counts were too important so we tried a simple ranking system on our board. Up to 7 posts was a Newbie, 10 posts for Full Member and 20 for Senior Member. That's it - only three groups. 90% of our members are now Senior Members. I never bothered to change it since all it really did was identify the newest members. The post count shows up under the avatar anyway.

I just checked..... I'm a Fuel mixer over @ NitroNetwork. Eye Did Not Know That........ I gotta' pay closer attention.
